世界精神病协会指出,人类已从”躯体疾病时代”进入”精神疾病时代”。心理疾病已成为人类健康的主要敌人。最近,有的科学家甚至认为,21世纪心理治疗将是人类战胜疾病的最重要手段。

心理状态,已被世界卫生组织列为评价人体健康的四大指标之一。这是因为心理健康状态与疾病的发生、发展,与家庭、社会、事业都有不可分割的联系。

来自心理学家的统计表明,约有70%的心理疾病患者是因为忽视自己的心理状态而加剧了病情的发展,加速了心理恶化的进程。

Chew Thoroughly to Lose Weight

Eating slow helps in losing weight!It’s official – if you eat slower and chew your food thoroughly you will lose weight! This was recently proven by Dr. Kathleen Melanson from the University of Rhode Island:

In the study, 30 women made two visits to Melanson’s lab, and each time they were given a large plate of pasta and told to eat as much as they wanted. When they were told to eat quickly, they consumed 646 calories in nine minutes, but when they were encouraged to pause between bites and chew each mouthful 15 to 20 times, they ate just 579 calories in 29 minutes.

 “Satiety signals clearly need time to develop,” Melanson concluded. “Not only did the women take in fewer calories when they ate more slowly, they had a greater feeling of satiety at meal completion and 60 minutes afterwards, which strongly suggests benefits to eating more slowly.”

一般人对营养食品都存有这样一个普遍的观念,认为只要是标榜为“高营养”的食品或保健品,都是多多益善,吃越多越好。这种观念尤其是在身体“患病”时更为显著,总认为狂吞猛咽各种高营养产品是对健康多一层 “保障”。殊不知这种做法不但大错特错,而且还会令健康付出很大的代价。

大量的摄取任何提纯的营养辅助品都可能为健康带来极大的负面影响, 其中主要的原因是身体无法从这些提纯的营养辅助品中获得所需的能量,而摄取此类负能量营养素将导致细胞能量匮乏而生病。因此当我们大量的服食提纯营养素时,身体为了保护细胞免于过度摄取这些负能量元素而受损,会智慧的减少对这些营养素的吸收率,这是一个身体自我保护的本能反应。

“生命诚可贵,爱情价更高”!很多人都认为,男女之间的情爱,是人生中最可歌可泣,最罗曼蒂克的事。但我却认为,“吃”才真是罗曼蒂克。乍听之下,你可能会不同意,不过,你应该同意,男女之间不论爱得如何难分难舍,始终是两个个体,绝无法真正融为一体,达至你中有我,我中有你的境界。但吃的境界就不同,你可以把“爱”的一半(你的食物)吞进肚子里,让它化成你身体的一部分,最终和你达至真正融为一体的最高境界,你难道不认为这才是人生中最罗曼蒂克的事吗?因此,别忘记在吃的当儿,为自己营造罗曼蒂克的气氛,享受食物为你带来的美好感觉。
